In a significant undertaking, our team successfully executed two major cable projects in the Dardanelle Strait and Izmit Gulf. This comprehensive effort involved assisting our client with shore approaches and the laying of twelve submarine power cables and four fiber optic cables. The projects demanded a high level of precision and coordination, particularly in the strategic and complex environments of these regions. Following the successful cables’ installation phase, we embarked on the nearshore cable protection campaign. This phase incorporated our innovative “Surgical Trench” procedures, adapted to the unique marine environments. Our methods included Jetting in Cymodocea nodosa areas and the strategic placement of geobags, ensuring additional protection of the cables and the restoral of the seabed. These techniques were particularly tailored to respect and preserve the sensitive marine ecosystem, demonstrating our commitment to environmental sustainability alongside operational excellence.
